Maxell releases iPod, iPhone cradle speakerMaxell has replaced its long-running MXSP-1000 cradle speaker for Apple's range of iPod music players with the MXSP-1100, which is compatible with the iPhone and refreshed iPod range. The cylindrical speaker system features two 1.8-inch, 4.2W speakers. Frequency response ranges from 80Hz to 20kHz. The speaker system has controls for the attached Apple music player's play, pause track control and volume adjustment.

Other personal music players as well as any device with a headphone jack and suitable cable can connect to the MXSP-1100 via its mini-stereo input. The MXSP-1100 is available in black iron and mahogany brown. In addition, a sleep timer delay that can be set as high as 60 minutes will turn off the iPod and speaker system is built-in.

Available on November 25th, the MXSP-1100 will be priced at the equivalent of about $100. [viaImpress]
