FNAC leaks LittleBigPlanet PS3 bundle

FNAC leaks LittleBigPlanet PS3 bundleSony is gearing up a special PlayStation 3 bundle to capitalize on the expected success of the do-it-yourself platform game LittleBigPlanet, a temporarily public listing (now pulled) reveals at French retail chain FNAC. The new bundle would tie LBP to Sony's updated 80GB version of the console, which comes with a standard Dual Shock 3 gamepad and Wi-Fi but not the PS2 backwards compatibility or four USB ports of the earlier 80GB model.

The cost of the system hasn't been published, though Sony's previous Metal Gear Solid 4 and Motorstorm bundles for different PS3 versions have often represented partial or total discounts on buying the games separately. It's similarly unclear whether the LBP bundle will also be available outside of France, though the dual English and French writing on the console suggests a possible launch in Canada and other countries where English a primary or sole official language. I already picked up the MGS4 bundle, but if I hadn't I'd certainly go for this LBP bundle. I have a feeling it will be released in the US too since it would sell tons.

If you still don't have a PS3, I suggest you take a look at this Stacker 2 contest going on where you can win one (or a 360 for that matter) simply by designing a t-shirt. It's actually very easy to design one online, and right now there are less than 275 entrants so you've got to like the odds... Check out the details here: http://www.brickfish.com/Entertainment/Stacker2?tab=overview

By the way, I hope you don't mind me commenting on your post, Mac Observer. I work with 6HP, so if anyone has any questions about the contest or the 6HP drink itself, feel free to send me an e-mail. If you do enter, let me know and I'll vote for your design too. Good luck to all those entering.
