The inclusion of the extra apps has been considered important by China Mobile as a reflection of a desire to create a completely open mobile platform, which is supported by the Linux foundations of Android but which would require similarly open third-party apps.
Use of the new government-made TD-SCDMA standard for 3G is also considered important, though China Mobile is purportedly eager enough to launch an Android phone by the end of 2008 that it may temporarily forgo its open apps in favor of a stock HTC phone. It's unclear whether or not this would involve a variant of the G1, also known as the HTC Dream, is uncertain.
In the US, a Android phone for Sprint is also scheduled for early 2009 but is believed to be different than the G1.

Many China mobile phone manufacturers expect the android would bring them a killer application of labeling the china made mobile phone to be gphone as soon as the mobile phone install with the android o/s. since it allows the phone to sell in higher price. since most of the new mobile phone are come with less than 5% net profit from china unless the clone one.
