ViewSonic releases three business DLP units

ViewSonic releases three business DLP unitsViewSonic on Wednesday released three new portable DLP projectors, the PJD6220, PJD6230 and PJD6240. The 62-series projectors sport a native resolution of 1024x768 and 4:3 aspect ratio as well as a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, with the 6220 offering a britghtness of 2,300 lumens, the 6230 rated at 2,700 and the 6240 at 3,200. Meant as presentation projectors in classrooms and boardrooms, the three share the same pair of 5W speakers, supplanted by a closed captioning system for viewers who are hearing impaired.

The connection options are likewise shared by the three new products and include RGB, composite and S-video inputs. An Ethernet jack lets them connect to user networks. Each comes with vertical digital keystone correction that lets the screen move up to 40 degrees while they are mounted on the ceiling or resting on a desk. Lamp life battery is rated at 3,000 hours and extendable to 4,000 when in power-saving Eco mode.

All are available in stores and on ViewSonic’s website now, with the PJD6220 is priced at $1,199, the PJD6230 at $1,359 and the PJD6240 at $1,659.
