Moto Q 9c already phased out at Sprint?

Moto Q 9c already phased out at Sprint?Motorola's Q 9c smartphone may already be exiting the market just months after making its debut, according to customers' online posts. The Windows Mobile smartphone has been removed from Sprint's online store; although the practice is typical for temporary shortages at the carrier, calls to representatives suggest there are no plans to restock.

No formal explanations have been given by Sprint for the low stock.

One report from a user points to Sprint having to retire the original Q 9c early to make room for a version preloaded with Windows Mobile 6.1, which adds a new home screen with at-a-glance viewing as well as better e-mail and threaded SMS. While downloadable upgrades are possible, the early swap allows the phone's return to Sprint without having to wait for a complete downloadable upgrade. [via Gear Diary]
