Fujitsu's newest laptop has been spotted early and in an unlikely place, as the T4220 replacement recently popped up on the Virginia Tech University Bookstore. The Tablet PC features a 13.3-inch 1280x800 (WXGA) display, and is expected to run an Intel Centrino 2 vPro chip of unknown speed along with 2GB of DDR3 RAM.
Other specs of the swiveling-screen laptop include a built-in webcam for communications and a fingerprint reader for security. The standard hard disk drive will be a 5400rpm unit with a 120GB capacity, with the external media drive coming by way of a dual-layer DVD drive. A wireless 802.11 a/g/n card from Atheros along with Bluetooth 2.1+EDR provide wireless communications abilities. The OS, as with most Fujitsa Tablet PCs, is Windows XP Professional Tablet Edition.
According to the university e-store, the laptop is priced at $1,999 and will be available in August. [viaGottaBeMobile]
