Other features shared by the two printers include an auto document feeder and a dedicated photo tray. Either is capable of printing 32 black and white pages per minute and 30 color pages per minute. A duplexer in both allows two-sided printing. A USB slot and a multi-format memory card reader let users handle documents without the need for a PC. With Kodaks photo paper, the printers can produce long-lasting, smudge-free photos in 28 seconds for 4x6-inch prints, and up to 8.5x11-inch borderless prints.
The ESP 9 is priced at nearly $300, while the ESP 7 costs about $200. Both will be available to buy from Kodaks online store and in retailers in late September. Replacement black ink cartridges cost $10, while a five-ink color cartridge is priced at $15.
