Meantime, the Kindle 2, first spied in October, is being delayed until early next year as well. Amazon is being criticized by many for not sufficiently outsourcing Kindle production to keep up with demand.
The Kindle uses an e-paper display to show pages from books and newspapers, which can be purchased and downloaded over its built-in and free data network connection, with the service provided by Sprint. The Kindle is priced at $359.
