The device's Rockchip RK2706 chipset includes the Microsoft PlayFX next generation audio technology for music processing. The 8.9mm (just over a third of an inch) thick device supports AAC, APE, FLAC, MP3, OGG, RM, RMVB, WAV and WMA audio files and FLV, MPG, DAT, AVI, MP4, WMV and 3GP video files. No pricing or release dates have been announced by Newman, though it is launching in the home market first and it is unknown if Newman will ever bring its device to North America. [viaGeneration MP3]
