The set-up is powered by dual 600MHz processors which are responsible for all the processes, including navigation capabilities and even gaming support. As far as regular radio functions, there is an AM/FM tuner onboard and a 5x50W amplifier. Dolby Pro-Logic and DTS surround sound support is accounted for, while Bluetooth compatibility allows users to wirelessly stream audio streaming. An iPod cable is included and allows users to navigate their personal music collections via the head unit's controls. A USB 2.0 connection lets users transfer media from compatible devices to the hard disk drive.
As HS Networks is looking for distributors, the NAVist III is not yet available for sale and there are no set prices.
