The 500GB RD-S503 sports a single HDMI output in addition to more digital and analog connections, while the RD-S303 many of the same specs coupled to a smaller 320GB hard disk.
Sold with Vardia branding in Japan, the three DVRs are all capable of upconverting source files stored on SD cards or broadcast content as well. The XDE processor can be switched off, however, to allow viewing source signals in their original resolutions.
All three are scheduled for a mid-November launch in Japan, with the RX-08 priced at an equivalent of about $,1350, the RD-S503 at $970 and the RD-S303 at $760 . [viaImpress]
