Images and external specifications for the so-called ASUS N10 leaked Friday, confirming rumors of the hard drive-bearing, non-Eee branded micro laptop. The simply-detailed N10 offers users a 10.2 inch widescreen monitor (rated at 1024 by 600 pixels), encased in a sandy colored shell, with a chrome polished hinge – Blogeee.netobserves that the result is a very sturdy overall design. Confirmed are storage capacities up to 320GB, with supposed options for Windows Vista or Linux. The keyboard is said to be vastly improved over previous models, with split function keys, as well as nicely proportioned modifier keys. It also features a sizeable track pad, with two chromed buttons, and a fingerprint reader at the bottom-center.
In terms of ports, the N10 features three USB 2.0 ports, WiFi, Ethernet, HDMI, headphone/mic ports,VGA, Ethernet, and what seems to be an ExpressCard slot. A card reader, web cam, and wireless power switches are also prominent.
Pricing for the unit is expected to be between €330 and €430. Detailed internal specifications were not readily available.
